What am I learning? What do I want to do differently? Who am I becoming? Because motherhood is not just about taking care of everyone else. Can we please stop giving women fear without giving them solutions? I just woke up and yet again more post about pads not being safe without any solution or better products Because yes, let’s talk about what may be in our menstrual products. Let’s talk about ingredients. Let’s talk about fragrances. Let’s talk about irritation. Let’s talk about what research actually says. Let’s talk about what we should be looking for when choosing a pad. But if you’re going to tell millions of women, “The pads you’ve been using are dangerous,” then please don’t stop there. Give us alternatives. Which products have been tested? What should we look for on the packaging? Are fragrance-free options better for sensitive skin? What reusable options are actually practical? How often should we change our pads? What should someone do if a particular product causes irritation? And what does the current evidence ACTUALLY tell us? Because some women cannot simply wake up tomorrow and stop using disposable pads. Some women can’t afford expensive alternatives. Some don’t have access to clean water for reusable products. Some women need something readily available at work, school or while travelling. So please… Don’t just make women afraid of the product they currently depend on. Educate us. Research it. Show us our options. Tell us what to look for. Give us practical alternatives. Awareness without solutions can become fear. We deserve information that helps us make better choices — not content that leaves us scared and confused. If we’re going to have the conversation, let’s have the WHOLE conversation.
