Motherhood is better when you have a village. 🤎
Recently, MomCircleNG brought mothers together for a beautiful Ajah Island Moms Hangout, creating a relaxed space for moms in the Ajah and surrounding Island communities to connect, unwind and simply enjoy one another’s company.
It was more than just a day out.
It was an opportunity for moms to step away from the everyday demands of motherhood, meet other women, have meaningful conversations, laugh, eat, reflect and create new connections.
A Beautiful Day for Island Moms
The MomCircleNG Ajah Island Hangout was created with one simple idea in mind: mothers need spaces where they can connect with other mothers in real life.
From the moment the moms arrived, there was an easy warmth in the room. Conversations started, friendships began to form, and before long, everyone was simply enjoying the moment.
There was good food, drinks, laughter, honest conversations and plenty of beautiful memories.
For us at MomCircleNG, seeing moms relax, connect and genuinely enjoy themselves was one of the biggest highlights of the day.
Why Local Mom Meetups Matter
MomCircleNG is a growing motherhood community in Nigeria, and we believe your village shouldn’t have to be far away.
A mom living in Ajah should be able to meet other moms in Ajah.
A mom in Lekki, VGC, Ikota or another part of Lagos should be able to find mothers within her own community.
And eventually, wherever mothers are across Nigeria, we want there to be a MomCircle waiting for them.
That is why we’re intentional about creating localized moms’ events and meetups.
Our Ajah Island gathering was one of those moments — bringing together mothers who live within the same part of Lagos and giving them an opportunity to build connections beyond the screen.
Because sometimes, your village can begin with the woman sitting across the table from you.
More Than Just a Hangout
At MomCircleNG, our events aren’t simply about getting moms together for a meal.
They’re about creating experiences where mothers can:
Meet other moms
Build meaningful friendships
Share real motherhood experiences
Have honest conversations
Reflect and reconnect with themselves
Discover new opportunities
Laugh and unwind
Build a support system within their community
And most importantly, feel seen.
Motherhood can sometimes feel isolating, especially when you’re navigating a new season or trying to balance family, work, relationships and everything else life brings.
Having women around you who understand can make a difference.
We’re Just Getting Started
Our Ajah Island Moms Hangout was another beautiful reminder of why MomCircleNG exists.
We are incredibly grateful to every mom who showed up, participated, connected and helped make the day special.
Seeing the smiles, conversations and new connections made it all worthwhile. 🤎
But this is only one part of what we’re building.
MomCircleNG is growing beyond physical meetups into a wider platform where mothers can connect, discover resources, learn from experts, access programs, discover trusted businesses and services, attend events and find support throughout their motherhood journey.
And yes — we have some exciting things coming. 👀
We’re working behind the scenes on new ways to make MomCircleNG even more useful and accessible to mothers across Nigeria.
So if you’re a mom in Ajah, Lekki, VGC, Ikeja, Lagos or anywhere across Nigeria, there’s a place for you in our circle.
Because motherhood was never meant to be done alone.
We’re building a village — one mom, one connection and one community at a time.
Welcome to MomCircleNG. 🤎
Community. Support. Growth.
Join the MomCircleNG community and find your village.
