MomCircleNG Is Growing: A Community Where Mothers Are Seen, Celebrated and Supported

There are some weeks when you pause and realize just how much can happen when people come together with a shared purpose.

This has been one of those weeks for MomCircleNG.

We celebrated birthdays of moms within our community. We celebrated one of our mothers welcoming a beautiful new baby into the world. We celebrated the launch of the MomCircleNG web app. We’ve continued creating conversations, resources and experiences for mothers, and we’re preparing for another monthly webinar.

And honestly, I’ve just been feeling incredibly grateful.

Not simply because MomCircleNG is growing, but because there are real mothers behind that growth.

Moms who show up.

Moms who check on one another.

Moms who celebrate each other.

Moms who share their experiences.

Moms who ask questions without fear of judgment.

Moms who have found friendships and support through this community.

That, to me, is the real success of MomCircleNG.

It Started With A Need

When I started MomCircleNG, I wasn’t thinking about followers.

I wasn’t thinking about building the biggest motherhood page on social media.

I was looking for something I personally needed.

I wanted to find a community of mothers who understood the season I was in. I wanted women I could talk to, learn from and relate to. I wanted a place where motherhood could be discussed honestly—not just the beautiful parts, but the overwhelming, confusing and sometimes lonely parts too.

And when I couldn’t quite find the kind of community I was looking for, I decided to build one.

I started with a website, momcircleng.com, because I wanted MomCircleNG to be more than a social media page. I wanted there to be somewhere mothers could actually find value—resources, stories, conversations, support and information that could make motherhood feel a little less overwhelming.

Today, that vision has continued to grow.

MomCircleNG now brings together community, stories, learning, resources, events, services and opportunities for mothers to connect with one another. Our platform also continues to grow beyond social media, with the launch of the MomCircleNG web app creating a more dedicated digital home for our community.

Our website continues to describe MomCircleNG as a supportive space where Nigerian moms can connect, learn and grow together, while our growing ecosystem includes community groups, events, learning resources and services for mothers. (Momcircleng)

Because Motherhood Was Never Meant To Be Done Alone

This remains the heart of everything we do.

Motherhood can be beautiful, but it can also be exhausting.

There are days when you need information.

There are days when you need an expert.

There are days when you need an event to get out of the house and breathe.

There are days when you need another mother to simply say:

“I understand.”

And sometimes, you don’t need advice at all.

You just need your village.

That is the kind of community we are building.

A place where mothers can find support through different seasons—from pregnancy and postpartum to parenting, wellness, career, business, relationships and personal growth. MomCircleNG’s stated mission is to create a supportive environment where mothers can access guidance, connections and resources throughout their motherhood journey. (Momcircleng)

We’re Not Just Talking About Community. We’re Creating Experiences.

One thing I’ve become increasingly passionate about is taking motherhood beyond the phone screen.

That’s why MomCircleNG has continued to create opportunities for mothers to meet, connect, learn and simply enjoy being women outside the everyday responsibilities of motherhood.

From wellness experiences and mom meet-ups to educational conversations and community events, we want mothers to have reasons to step away from the routine and pour back into themselves.

Our recent events have included wellness gatherings, Pilates, community conversations and The Becoming Series, which featured digital creator Edna Francis in a conversation about building a personal brand while navigating motherhood. (Momcircleng)

And we’re not stopping there.

Our Monthly Webinars Are Staying

Every month, we’re creating space for conversations that matter to mothers.

Our last webinar, “Building Your Personal Brand as a Mom” with Edna Francis, was such a beautiful conversation about motherhood, identity, consistency and building something of your own while raising a family.

If you missed it, the conversation is still available on our YouTube for you to watch.

And this month, we’re going back to another subject that matters deeply:

Parenting.

We’ll be hosting a conversation with a Child and Family Therapist, where we’ll explore some of the realities of parenting today—how we respond to our children’s behaviour, the patterns we may need to unlearn, and how we can raise emotionally healthy children while navigating the realities of modern motherhood.

Stay tuned for the date and registration details.

And Then There Are The Little Moments

Sometimes growth isn’t about numbers.

Sometimes it’s a mom sending a message saying, “Thank you, I needed this.”

Sometimes it’s two moms meeting for the first time at an event and exchanging numbers.

Sometimes it’s a birthday being celebrated inside the community.

Sometimes it’s a mother welcoming her third baby and having an entire community of women celebrate with her.

Sometimes it’s a mom who had a difficult day finding the courage to talk about it because she knows someone will listen.

Those moments are why I keep building.

Because behind every feature, event, post, webinar or new product is a simple belief

Mothers deserve to feel seen, heard and supported.

We’re Still Building

MomCircleNG is not finished.

In fact, I think we’re only beginning to see what this community can become.

We’re building a space where mothers can connect with other moms, discover useful resources, learn from experts, find meaningful experiences, discover mom-owned businesses and services, and have a place that feels like their own.

But through all the growth, one thing will remain at the centre:

The community.

Because I never started MomCircleNG simply to build a social media following.

I started it because I believed mothers needed a village.

And every time I see moms showing up for one another, I know that belief was worth building on.

So, to every mother who has joined us, shared a story, attended an event, participated in a conversation, recommended us to another mom, supported another mother or simply stayed with us—

thank you.

We’re grateful to have you here.

And if you’re a mom looking for your village, maybe this is your sign to join ours.

Motherhood is better when we walk it together. 🤎

Community. Support. Growth.
